Datwyler Cabling Solutions with revenue increase

Datwyler Cabling Solutions Inc., a private subsidiary of Pema Holding Inc., increased net revenue by 6.6% year-on-year to CHF 244.6 million (previous year CHF 229.5 million) in 2018 in a still challenging environment.

Thanks to the various optimization measures implemented, Datwyler Cabling Solutions was able to slightly increase sales in its main European markets. While demand stagnated in the important German market, the company achieved pleasing growth in its home market of Switzerland and in Western and Southern Europe.

Datwyler Cabling Solutions serves the important Chinese market largely from its own plant in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. In the year under review, the company achieved pleasing sales growth above market average. Datwyler Cabling Solutions also recorded above-average growth in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Singapore continues to be the most important market in Southeast Asia. In the year under review, Datwyler did important development work in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. This should be reflected in rising sales in 2019.
