The two-track elevated railway Kuala Lumpur (KL) monorail
has repeatedly experienced disruptions in rail operations in the past. RapidRail recognised the pressing need for action and replaced the old fibre network entirely by a future-proof solution from Datwyler. For the individual construction phases of the KL monorail Datwyler supplied a total of 42 kilometres of 12-fibre single-mode FO Outdoor cable with a steel shaft sleeve plus the connection technology and accessories.
