2000 pre-assembled floor boxes for Goethe University

Datwyler’s decentralised floor boxes are popular at Frankfurt’s Goethe University. For the new Social and Educational Sciences building and administrative block on the Westend Campus Datwyler supplied around 2,000 floor boxes which obtain their power supply via one ECO Power-5x10 mm2 flat cable (63A). Imtech obtains the floor boxes wired ready for connection and inclusive of sockets, FI circuit breakers, device casings and connecting cables - the latter supplying power to FO miniswitches among other things. Compared with conventional solutions Datwyler’s pre-assembled floor boxes give improved operating safety and better personal and fire protection - with lower investment, less space requirement and shorter installation times.
