Wei Zhong
Managing Director China
Wei Zhong (born in 1973, Chinese) joined Datwyler in September 2020 as Head of Product Management and he was appointed Managing Director of Datwyler China in September 2021. He is responsible for China covering IT infrastructure and elevator businesses.
Before joining Datwyler, he had worked at Nexans for ten years holding various positions from Marketing Manager, acting VP Supply Chain, Commercial Director for Greater China as well as Global Change Leader at Corporate Strategy & Transformation responsible for APAC and North America. Prior to joining Nexans, he had extensive working experience with Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai and with several industrial companies including Freeport McMoRan and Umicore.
He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Shanghai University of International Business & Economics.
