Halogen-free safety cables for Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

Finland

The expansion of the international terminal including the baggage-handling hall was primarily intended to allow the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to handle air traffic between Europe and the Far East, which has risen by about 35 percent. Today the terminal serves 15 to 16 million passengers a year and handles 13.5 million pieces of baggage. Vareste Oy, a Finnish partner of Datwyler for fire safety solutions, was contracted for cabling the smoke removal, emergency lighting and power supply systems. Halogen-free safety cables from Datwyler guarantee reliable power supply to the safety systems installed at the international terminal since then.
