New plant in Europe
Greenfield project launched in the Czech Republic

We want to continue expanding our production capacity in Europe until 2025. That’s why we launched a greenfield project in the Czech Republic with an investment of 13 million Swiss francs. The complete rebuilding of the plant in Děčín will bring a host of benefits to Datwyler’s European customers in particular.
The local competence centre will evolve. In future this will enable us to offer even more tailor-made products and services for your data networks, for industrial applications as well as for lifts and data centres.
Thanks to its geographical location the Děčín site will support our service targets – for example short lead times and just-in-time deliveries – throughout Europe, and further boost our competitiveness on the European markets. Fully digitised production and lean processes will play their part here.
The plant is scheduled to come on stream in the first quarter of 2025.
