A state-of-the-art communications network must not only transmit digital and analog data and voice signals but also sound and video signals. In 2006, the Romansh broadcast station RTR in the Swiss city of Chur installed a Datwyler multimedia solution which enables its writers and producers to receive TV and radio programs via standard data outlets at every workplace.
