From now on Datwyler is offering small splice distributors which can be mounted on TH35 support rails or top-hat rails in distribution or terminal boxes, e.g. for industrial applications or in the FTTH in-house sphere.
The DIN rail splice distributors are made from sheet steel. At the front they feature six LCD, LSH, SCD or LCQ adapters with ceramic sleeves, which Datwyler supply ready for splicing, i.e. inclusive of pigtails.
The OS2 and OM 4 boxes contain up to 24 pigtails (colour code IEC 60304). The scope of delivery also includes a splice tray, the complete set of splicing accessories with crimp splice protection, a labelling strip and an M20 cable gland. The fibre optic cables are introduced via two cable entry openings at the sides or at the rear.
