Datwyler in China takes environmental protection very seriously: a solar power plant installed on the roof of our factory in Taicang in 2020 together with the Unison Energy Group is now being connected to the mains.
The 1.3 MW photovoltaic power plant is designed to reduce CO2 emissions by almost 1,100 tonnes per year. That is equivalent to planting around 600 trees and saves 18,000 Swiss francs on the cost of power.
