Information on the Datwyler copper quotation

Dear Business Associates,
As you have probably already gathered from the press, publication of the DEL copper quotation was suspended on 14th February 2022.
So that we can continue to supply you without massive disruption we have adjusted the copper calculation as follows:
Copper quotation = copper LME in US dollars + cathode premium in US dollars, converted at the exchange rate into euros, plus 1% delivery cost.
The figures here depend on:
• Copper based on the London Metal Exchange, LME (ASK cash settlement), 14:00 hours, in US dollars, unknown midday exchange
• Cathode premium
• Exchange rate US dollar/euro, Bloomberg BFIX
This is the calculation basis for the copper quotation which we shall be charging with immediate effect. We shall publish the copper quotation daily in the footer of the home page of our website ITinfra.datwyler.com.
Please forgive the change at such short notice. We ourselves were taken by surprise when publication of the DEL-Notiz was suspended.
