Datwyler Study: major investment in the IT infrastructure
Data centres and cloud concepts are being upgraded

In the study entitled “How digital are small and medium-sized businesses?” Datwyler investigated the status and evolution of digitisation in the DACH region and China mainland.
The level of investment is high in both markets: 81 percent of respondents in the DACH region and 99 percent in China wanted to invest in their IT infrastructure during the coming 12 months.
Whereas the Chinese respondents placed an emphasis on data centres (64 percent) and IaaS (56 percent), businesses in the DACH region mainly wanted to invest in cloud solutions (54 percent) and only then in data centres (53 percent).
