Secure communication in the Shanghai Tower

At 632 metres in height the Shanghai Tower is the city’s tallest building, the second tallest building in China and the fourth tallest in the world. Datwyler supplied a fibre optic cabling system with flame-retardant, low-smoke halogen-free indoor cables (FRNC/LSZH) for the fire alarm system in the tower. The company also supplied over 30 kilometres of copper data cable to interconnect the multi-storey car park and satellite systems.
