Real-time aerial surveillance
This solution combines a drone equipped with the latest technology and an extremely compact, fully functional outdoor data centre where the automatically collected data can be processed and evaluated immediately, without delay. Supported by AI-based analytics, the Datwyler solution enables real-time aerial surveillance and rapid response to emergencies of all kinds. For example, detailed traffic reports can be generated, allowing authorities to respond more quickly to accidents or congestion and adjust their traffic management. The drone’s advanced 2D and 3D modelling capabilities also enable highly precise incident assessments, helping to optimise emergency operations and other security measures.
Equipped with state-of-the-art IoT sensors and a variety of cameras, the drone provides reliable real-time visual surveillance. A wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter allows for high-precision mapping, while another camera can capture both visible light and thermal images. This allows unauthorised activity and potential threats to be immediately detected, triggering alerts and enabling rapid intervention.
The Smart Drone solution can also contribute to the smooth and safe running of large events, such as in stadiums. Using automated patrol and AI-supported analytics, the drone provides organisers with insights into the dynamics of large crowds – for example, during arrival or at the entrance – and helps them manage visitors as optimally as possible.
High data security
The compact outdoor data centre is a special, mobile version of Datwyler’s Smart Modular Data Centre (SMDC). This edge computing solution only processes data locally and is also operated on a private network. This ensures much greater security for sensitive data compared to cloud computing.
