Interference-free video streaming, real-time gaming and data backups at up to 10 gigabits per second: Datwyler has developed the "CU 7000 4P Home" data cable specifically for high-speed multimedia cabling in residential buildings.

The shielded AWG26 cable is only 5.8 millimetres "thick" and is even easy to run through thin tubes. It is compatible with all current connecting hardware in accordance with EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801.

On links up to 60 metres (m) it meets all the ISO/IEC requirements for a Category 7 (600 Megahertz, MHz) product. Its main features are an attenuation of 32 decibels (dB) per 60 m at 500 MHz, very good NEXT values of 92 dB at 500 MHz, a high impedance accuracy as reflected in a Return Loss of 26 dB at 500 MHz, and good mechanical characteristics, e.g. a tensile strength of 62 N (Newton).

The data cable is available in a practical Pull-Quick box (305 m).
