Copper solution for mixed installations

Datwyler has added another two new products to its Medium Density Data Centre Solution (MD-DCS) for small and medium data centres and server rooms. In addition to the fibre optic components, there is now also an MD-DCS copper Keystone plug-in module (cassette) with 6 ports. Plus a pre-assembled standard format 19-inch 1U copper panel which has been designed for direct installation in network and server racks.
The screened plug-in module is suitable for copper cables and can take up to six Keystone modules. The cassette has been specially developed for use in the MD-DCS copper panel and slots effortlessly into the patch panel frame without the need for any installation tools.
The new patch panel can take up to 4 MD-DCS plug-in modules, providing a maximum of 24 copper port in 1U. Mixed installations of copper and fibre optic technology are now also possible in MD-DCS thanks to these new products.
