In May of this year, twelve more vehicles in Datwyler’s European corporate fleet were converted to fully electric drive systems, including eight plug-in hybrids, two diesel vehicles and two petrol vehicles. This measure is part of the ongoing transformation process toward emission-free mobility.

This interim step alone can save around 30 tons of CO₂ annually if the vehicles are charged with green electricity, as is the case at the German subsidiary in Hattersheim.

“With each conversion, we move closer to our goal of CO₂ neutrality by 2030. The electrification of the vehicle fleet is an important lever in this process,” explains Klaus-Dieter Sallmann, Quality Manager at Dätwyler IT Infra GmbH.

Further conversions are planned for the coming months. This clearly demonstrates Datwyler’s commitment to its sustainability strategy, consistently drives change – including on the road.
