Datwyler has recently become a member of the Austrian Data Center Association (ADCA). By joining this association we are extending our commitment to sustainable, secure IT infrastructure in Europe.

The Austrian Data Center Association is a not-for-profit association intended to represent the interests of Austrian data centre operators. Founded in 2023, sustainability and security are amongst the topics it is concerned with.

ADCA’s aim is to make Austrian data centres fit for the future. Because, as well as expanding broadband networks, future-proof data centres have a central role to play in a country’s digital transformation. Successful expansion of this infrastructure is essential for ensuring sustainable growth, competing on the global digital market and strengthening the Austrian economy.

Datwyler became involved in the German DataCenter Association (GDA) back in February 2022 to help improve conditions for data centre operators in Germany and bring its own expertise to the industry.

“Joining the Austrian Data Center Association is an important strategic step towards extending this commitment to Austria and actively shaping the future of the data centre market in that country as well”, explains Andreas Klodner, head of the Datwyler IT Infra branch in Austria.
