Data Center cabling for Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department

The new command center of the Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department is an integrated functional department affiliated to the Public Security Bureaus across Jiangxi Province. The data center cabling project covered 14 machine rooms and one operating office and involved 25,000 10G copper POIs and 50,000 fiber points in total. The data center’s cabling system architecture conforms to TIA942, and the cabling in the computer rooms comprises the main, intermediate, horizontal, zone and equipment distribution areas. They were submitted to and accepted by the owner by mid-2016.
Datwyler participated in the project since the end of 2015 and assigned dedicated engineers for its full duration, from detailed design, to construction, testing, acceptance, opening, and operation. As per China’s national standards – GB 50311-2007 and GB 50312-2007 – and the international ISO/IEC 11801-2002 standard, Datwyler carried out the basic links testing for all links in coordination with the engineering side. All the tested technical indices were found to meet the requirements in every respect. They were submitted to and accepted by the owner by mid-2016.
