Technical specifications
For enclosures (IP66/IP67) for operation in environments with changing temperature conditions (e.g. outdoors), to avoid condensation inside the enclosure. (e.g. housing 417530, 417533)
Mode of action:
A built-in membrane (waterproof but air-permeable) creates a pressure balance between the inside of the housing and the environment. The reason for the pressure difference is a temperature difference between the housing and the environment (e.g. sunlight, cooling in rain, cooling at night, etc.). The difference in pressure and temperature is the cause of condensation in the enclosure.
